What do you understand from the term
'Financial Planning'
As AIA is merely an insurance company ;
We're gearing towards the new era ;
To provide a comprehensive and complete service for our clients.
You may ask questions like ;
How is this job any different from sales?
(Since we do sell products as well)
Here's to answer your question.
From a personal point of view ;
I would say that insurance and sales have a lot in common.
BUT, with just as many differences as well.
With insurance and financial planning, you're not merely selling.
You are advising and analyzing a client's finance status.
Be it an individual or a company ;
They're all your potential clients.
They're all your potential clients.
In other words, you provide a "Financial Health Check".
You go through their assets, liabilities and income as a whole.
With that, you analyze their financial status.
Through the information and the knowledge that you acquire, you advice.
How insurance comes in is this.
When you've analyzed and advised your clients from the financial point of view ;
You move on to the next step of insuring their assets as well as their income.
Assets do not last forever.
Incomes may fluctuate.
It's true that money can't buy love and happiness.
However, it's a fact that we need money to live.
